Where to begin

Hi Guys,

New to this forum and I was wondering if I could draw on your combined experience.

I have built several static boats and have decided to take the leap into radio controlled boat. I have purchased a Robbe Dousledoffe fire boat kit, two Robbe navy compact motors to drive it and a second hand four channel radio kit.

The parts I am stuck on is

1. What size and sort of battery do I need?

2. Do I need one or two ESC and what type?

3. Do I need a mixer?

4. Has anyone any idea where I can get a wiring diagram from?

 

Sorry for so many questions but I am keen to get started but I really don’t know where to start on the radio side of things.
