Need info on the Veron Skid boat, spe finally the drawi g a d plan that came with it.

Colin Smith has come up trumps and not only has the plan, but remembers sailing one at Queens Park golfing boating pond. It’s a tethered line boat. Not shown in the illustrations is the little post that you tied to the central pole.

Going to be tricky getting a pole in the pond at bushy…

Colin has come up trumps and provided me with the Skidboat plan as per the original wot was included with the kit.

I have accordingly made a start. Builders foam. Cheap, easy. Actually, although the biggest part of the build, this IS the easy bit. Fitting out will be tricky, squashing everything in and hiding it.. Ashley

Colin. FORTUNATELY the thing does not seem to have been a tether design, the other Colin obv sailed their’s as a tether but that may be because they had the use of a tether pond set up to hand, and therefore made use of it…?

Anyway. Ordered more stuff and most of it is here now so am doing a bit of fibreglassing this afternoon. 9 hour slow set so be ready tomorrow.
