I use 2 Johnson 12v motors with reduction gearing and two 40amp electronic speed controllers. The model sails at a great scale speed.

Sorry for the delay in replying but I’ve been a little under the weather, yes I used a universal primer suitable for glass fibre on the hull after first gently wet and drying the gelcoat with 600grit paper to give a key.

There are a few photos of the trent in my gallery but none of the interior, I took this one when I hit the bank at Runcorn after the radio set suffered an electronic bypass. The motors, speed controllers and fans were all “shaken up”

I can’t take a current photo as the hull is empty due to my doing a refit prior to the Birchwood show.
