That looks like a very nice event indeed, Harry, with plenty of beautiful boats to see!

And speaking of Tasmania and wooden boats, here's a photo of me at the helm of the Olive May (**LINK**) off Dover (Dover, Tasmania, that is) back in early January 2003, when my wife and I had chartered her for an afternoon of sailing …

The Rum Runner is lovely but a little disappointed at the lack of kangaroos

Do they have kangaroos in Tasmania, then?

                    Dave,

I believe they do; wallabies, certainly, but I think also Eastern Grey kangaroos …

                      Hi All

The fast catamaran is the second one built for the MONA private museum up the Derwent River at Claremont.

These will run about 35 knots but a speed limit in the Derwent River.

Built by INCAT who build the larger wave piercing for the world market.

Keep missing fast catamaran MR-2 to get a photo going pass my place, but, one day.

Yes Dave we have roos in Tasmania and pet Tassie Tigers.

The rum runner makes too much noise for the roos and scares their pants off!!!
