Steam Tug WATTLE

We had a great turn out at the Blackpool and Fylde model boats show, the new venue worked well. I got most of the components required and decals for the Wattle name plate and plimsole numbers.

Tried out a decal on the aft … went back to the diagram of the components for the Wattle.. also sorting the position for the switches and battery charger sockets.

I have put a purspect cover over the top of some of the components so I can see..fuses and switch lights in use.

connected some of the sound system up p92 for p101 and p100 with p44 for the lights

​Thanks for looking in …I have been looking at the overall weight of the batteries and components and as you say

not much room for ballast, but will slide things around if more weight is required.

So what have you been up to lately or is it top secret

The electricery is making me concentrate on the assembly.

The plan is to wire up as the plan dictates , then when I feel I am out of my depth will contact the

Lancaster model shop and request a day they can look over the assembly and finish off the switches and battery chargers, with battery connectors.

Would not want to destroy all the good work.

Well that is the back up plan.

Starting to tidy up the wires and all components ready for the battery connection.

Windows ten still a problem so very little to say.

Bit of a lay off due to her in doors broken arm.

All the components and wires, batteries charge points have been checked by Matt @ Lancaster models.

N o idea if its possible to upload a small video clip to show the rudder and prop turning, also the steam from the kettle.

But it is looking better and will finish off the deck and lights, cabin video link will take time.
