Vinnie,

I had a reply to a question that I asked the "Fat Controller" a short while back. It came up in my email in-box with a link to this site. When I went to reply, and after ticking the terms and conditions box etc, and after finally getting a code I could read! I went to submit it and all I kept getting was a message stating "wrong code" or whatever. I tried this about 8 times and have finally given up. Is there another way of replying without filling this in?

Filling what in? If you could post the above then you’ve filled in all you need to reply to anything?

I can get through this way but I have been getting replies addressed to my email in-box at Windows Live. When I go through the link on this page, I am then asked to fill in my name-email address-and an activation code. This is where I cannot get through direct as when I fill in the activation code, I am then told I have filled it in in-correctly. Once or twice maybe but not all the time!! Plus, as I am new here it takes a bit of time to find the person I was asking the question for! That is the part that is giving me problems!

Ron, windows live is where the problem lies. Not with this site. You are already logged on to this site. Go to your profile page and change your email address to a normal one. Then when you receive email notification of a reply to a post, you simply click on it, it takes you to the post, and you type a reply. It really is that simple. No Activation code etc. Well….as long as you don’t use Windows live that is.

If you are entering this site via an e’mail link you will not be logged on. You need to log on, then you wont need the activation code. I had the same problem.

Wrong. You will not be logged on only if you have purposefully logged off after your last visit…..and there’s no need to do that.
