Wonderful model,  I can remember seeing the real thing in the Liverpool dock system, in 1962/3 . My dad was a chief engineer on Mac Andrew’s Pinto, she used to berth in Canada Dock, cant remember which branch. The Port line ships would be berther paralell to the river. Pinto would share the branch with the Strick/Ellerman service ships.  I would race up to the bridge of the Pinto to see what was in the next branch, would it be a NZSC ship or better still a Federal ship.Happy days, I aspire to this level of quality!
