we took the tug for maiden voyage today, impressed for the first 20 minsuntil i lifted it from the water to check the drain bung and for any water inside, all seemed ok until i put it back and it listed hard to port.levelled itself after a moment or 2 so i put it down to the water ballast thing in the bottom.started driving again and went a bit too far, powered on against a safety tether fishing line id attached and swiftly capsized it
hauled it out promptly and drained what i could.dismantled and dried tonight, now in the airing cupboard to get rid of the moisture.
gave up on that game and took my uncles victoria out for a sail instead, what a pleasure that boat is to handle, even for a beginner like me
btw, does anyone know if the tug should have variable throttle or is it just full on forward and reverse.there was no in between today
