Hello all,

 

I have just joined the forum today.

 

I’ve been building models since I was a kid, doing boats for about twenty years. I’m also into model engineering and have built one or two steam engines. The great thing for me is that my eldest son is now taking an interest in model building, mostly on the RC aircraft side of things.

 

I’m an aircraft engineer by trade and live in South Oxfordshire at the moment.

Hi Deano, Always good to see another engineer who enjoys his steam plant.  I’ve been very interested in model steam engines for a number of years now and take every opportunity to promote model steam even to the point of taking on the role of steam tester for the Kirklees Model Boat club.  I must have been out of my mind at the time!

 

Feel free to share some of your models on here, I’ll going to be posting one or two of my own soon.
