Mini yacht

My pal Duckie, has just bought a lovely little yacht, since he couldn`t control himself when he saw it in Steve Webb`s model shop and fancied a maiden voyage on our home based Coniston Pool

We set up a wind source and had a little play

It was quite interesting, the wind was a bit fickle at times

Takes some controlling at first…….Duckie was so tied up with the controls…..He lost Ducky over the outlet waterfall!

Oh, aye — I like it very much indeed!

I actually made one rather like it back in my mid-teens, many a moon ago, albeit a much simpler version: single prop with rudder steering, and no moving head, water squirting or sound effects. It was good fun, though …
