Hello Everyone.

My model boat has a corked 8 inch rubber sealing tube with an internal diameter of approximately 3mm attached to the top of the rudder post to prevent water ingress. It'll need to be filled with a suitable oil with a viscosity that will allow it to be syringed into the sealing tube.

Could anyone please suggest a suitable oil for this purpose please?

I would suggest a light oil like 3 in 1.
