i have now decided that after looking at the very large clyde lifeboat that attempted to do the loch ness sail on saturday, and also 5 lifeboat kits that i’ll probably not in my lifetime get round to building, i must put them all up for sale, OR SWAP for a nice british classic soft top 2 seater car or classic motorcycle.

 

the clyde is pictured in my gallery

 

the kits are….

1] partly built early prototype Speedline trent class lifeboat complete with ALL fittings and fixtures.

 

2] unbuilt speedline Severn class full kit except for plans [ obtainable at rnli]

 

3] unbuilt metcalf mouldings waveney class full kit,

 

4] unbuilt metcalf mouldings 41′ watson class Anne letitia russell full kit [ minus box lid]

 

5] lesro atlantic 21 full kit unbuilt.

 

i do not want to sell these singularly unless for a good price, but collectively new they would be worth £2750 to buy new, and as the clyde cost me £1000 in materials to build inc all electrics and 1500 hours work, i reckon that an asking price for the lot of £5000 is not outlandish.

any one interested in buying or swapping for a vehicle let me know.

I’d forgotten that this advert was here.

 

I still have the kit, but I had originally included it in the sale of all the other boats as a bit of an incentive.

however having seen what these things are fetching on ebay these days, I don’t know whether to sell it or not.

it would have to be a substantial offer as it is totally complete including motor, shaft even glue and coupling….as it came from Lesro…..plus there’s a wreck of an atlantic with a water jet drive with it as well as a spare boat.

 

so I’d have to be temptedwith a good offer before I sold it, as it was going to be my next build after my 3 lifeboats that I’m building on Mayhem I don’t know what to do?
