Left stick = Forward, Right stick = backwards

Please excuse my absolute ignorance as I am a total beginner just completing my first boat build which is a cat hull with twin motors and twin ESCs. My transmitter is a Futaba 6EX and the receiver is a R617FS. I have clearly connected something up wrong as (using right hand stick on my controller) if I push left on the controller stick my boat goes forward and if I push right on the stick my boat goes backwards.

 

Could anyone provide a suggestion to my blind stupidity so that when I push forward on the stick my boat goes forward!!

G’day Mark,

you obviously have your propulsion unit connected to your rudder control and vice versa!

Swap them over.
