I see now!……..Internal damage…..How did that happen, did you drop it or something? 

I dropped Jeanie Deans some time back and wiped off half the railings!

Allan asked for some photos of the inside of my Trent unfortunately the hull is empty at the moment due to refit for Birchwood so the only shot that I have is one taken of the damage caused when she ran into the bank at Runcorn (radio malfunction) its a problem that besets all of us at one time or another.

When it happened I almost said a bad word.

I had exactly the same problem with Broom….it went into top speed in reverse and crashed into the stone wall and I nearly said a few naughty words too. It smashed the lifeboat and davits off……..So I gave it to Duckie…he loves rescuing sick boats

 thats the trouble with the plastic boats cannot take the knocks of the wood ones  i have a scratched built  mtb (FAST) hit a wall bounced off damage a bit of paint  all the best gordon

Hi Gordon

This is my only styrene / fiberglass boat as I prefer to build in ply but I couldn’t resist the challenge of this particular model.

I have a 4ft Huntsman fitted with a 32cc strimmer engine which is very fast and being wood it bounces off the bank without causing any damage.
