humming sound

hi guys,

i had a p63 micro diesel engine sound installed but it is generating another kind of humming sound when i plug the wires for the bow thrusters, the sound generated much louder when i move the throttles. how could i minimize such kind of sound interference.

Have you fitted any suppressors to the bow thruster motor?

A photo of your installation would be useful, together with some clarification:
If you disconnect the bow thruster motor from its speed controller does the engine sound work correctly?
If not, does the engine sound work OK with the thruster ESC unplugged from the receiver?
Does the thruster speed controller have BEC? Have you disabled it?
Is it operation of the thruster or the main throttle which affects the sound?

Extra question, assuming the bow thruster has its own ESC, is the black (battery) wire properly connected? Sending motor power through control wires has some weird side effects.

Hi,

I'm having problems downloading pix of my setup, however i tried to remove the bow thruster from it housing found out it got clogged by a putty preventing it from rotating . tried the bowthruster outside the housing and fortunately the sound generator worked out fine. will try to put it all back inside the hull today. will also be checking for loose connections. thanks guys for all your suggestions.
