      Hi Paul

Looks like it will be a good old paper, pencil and ruler (flexi or otherwise) for a bit. Then at least I am learning the techniques. Silly thing is, I learnt it all at school, proper Technical Drawing class, not the all in one Design and Technology stuff they teach now, but that was a few decades ago. But as with all things learnt in school, if you don't use it you lose it. So quite happy to relearn it now.

So off to the local student art shop for a flexi ruler on Monday although I did find an interesting site that shows how to draw curves using different methods – **LINK**

Well, whilst I wait to retrieve my drawing from work on Monday, I have been playing with draftSight.

Yes Bob I agree that there (at least) 3 versions of Draftsight, Free Download, Professional and Enterprise, but the free version, which is the one I'm using, DOES allow printing.

Back in the mists of time when I learnt Technical Drawing we used drafting tools to create curves.

              Hi Folks

I have to put this design and build on hold for a few weeks. I have to study for work based exams. 2 down 3 to go. Back as soon as possible to continue the learning of a different and much more fun sort.

              Cheers for now.
