I was reading about the battle of Jutland recently and apart the fact that …"there was something wrong with our ships"……..the 12" shells failed to explode quite often!

Your right there Bob, but IRON DUKE had 13.5 inch shells.

There was something wrong at the beginning of WWII with allied torpedos … most frustrating for the crew after a submarine endangered itself getting into a good attack position.
