I sold it last year as it was getting beyond my ability to launch it without a trailer, the boat never had a name apart from Big Boat.

I am glad that you like it I always thought that it was a lovely craft.

As you know I shall be building another big model this season this one will be a TID tug at 6ft long but for ease of moving it will be built in 2 halves.

Not was, is a lovely craft , I hope to build one  like that some day, But with all the other boats I have in mind it might not happen Time will tell. Merv

Like I said you will have to live well into your nineties just to build the boats on the cd, its a good job that you have both river and lake to sail them in or you would never have enough room. talking of which how keen is your good lady wife on having completed models stored all over the house?

Hi Paul  she  thinks hobbies is a waste  of time, but then so is a flower garden you cant eat the 

flowers, & I have a double garage as we as a hobby room,& I have a brother who has plenty of space as well there is the loft. Now

now the land of the long white Cloud is New Zealand when cook saw new Zealand for the first time it aws covered in mist, hence the name.

Wikipedia have not heard about the Long White Cloud but I thought it was the Maori who gave the country that name when they arrived from up in the Pacific around 1000Ad or so
