        Hello Paul

I was all charged up and ready to go…………….Took the dog for a walk and that biting East wind was enough for me!………..So I chickened out!

We went after dinner, but most members had gone home by then……………..even Duckie and Velda!……..So it must have been cold.

I only went to take pictures for this months photo contest………………"Frostbite sail"……and this is one of them

        Worked on JDAW instead

        Bob

          Hi Bob/Paul

Yes we were there, before the streets were aired Bob , and in true “Blue Peter ” style here was one you built earlier ,which was auctioned off towards Club funds at this years Club Auction. The buyer has made a nice job of rerigging it hasn’t he .

I over heard Martin telling a spectator that it had auto tacking installed?……………..Must ask him about it!

And in true Martin fashion…………….He`s not fitted the motor…………..(none of his yachts have motors)………I think an Aux motor is invaluabell in light airs…………..some clowns think it`s some form of cheating!

Nice to see yer…………….to see yer………………nice!

            Bob

you hardy bunch, the best I did was make a dash  into the shed so that my young daughter could paint the window frames of her new dolls house.and that was with the gas fire on full belt.

Think I’ll wait till spring before I go sailing

Hope you all had a very nice and peacefull Christmas, and look forward to a prosperous new year.

              neil.

I think  Monkeys Stupid and Brass are the words you are most politely not using Neil , But it was nice to see the members that only come out now and then (for the free food and drink) for a chat.  Can’t understand people that only come out for Frostbite Day and you never see them in the summer still you pays your membership and makes your choice don’t you .

Happy New Year to all our Readers, How about some of you in the background who only read and don’t  write having a go in the New Year

                  Hi Ducky

You do have a point about contributing to the site because if membership was limited to those who actually took an active part we could all meet up in a garden shed.( I wonder who would crack first??)

But then again we cant all be as gregarious as Captain Bob and at least the silent majority still read our postings.
