      Hi,

I am lloking for a supplier for fibreglass fabric around 100g per sqm and some wood strip for building an IOM plug. I am actually looking for either  Samba wood or Cedar. I think balsa would not be stiff enough. Also I would need some strip of 1500mm I think since the boat is 1000 long.

Any advices on wood materials, length or any other?

Does any one know a good shop for that?

       Great thanks

what part of the country do you live in, adrien.

in the lancashire area we have Glasplies in southport, who will do mail order for all grp supplies,

and in preston there is a company who can do cedar and obeche similar to samba, called Page and Taylor. also on the other side of the country a company called BODDY’S of Boroughbridge, north yorkshire do some timbers.

in norfolk there is Twigfolly of Atleborough who do that sort of timber. good luck.
