          Hi Wayne

          I have an offshore racer 33" .

          I have a Hobbyking setup with 3648-1450KV motor with a car ESC 100A(code HK-100A).

          Battery Zippy Compact 5600mah 4S 60C and using a 40mm x 1.4 pitch prop(code 377000004).

          Trim Tabs (code HK-516B12).

It is a very quick boat but I am waiting on a 37mm x 1.4 pitch prop (code 215000032).

To see if I can get a bit more speed).

You may like to try two Batteries (3300mah) as you can move these around to get the balance point for the boat right.

Start with a balance point 1/3 the length of the boat from the stern.

The ESC's are small and can be setup very well for low speed and low reverse speed(a ESC [programming card required).

For the astra mm2404 it shows a rudder under the hull about 2 inches from the transom. How would a transom mounted rudder with water pickup work on this boat instead

              Hi Wayne

I would leave the rudder as is and if using a water cooled motor mount use the original pickup.

I tested the 37mm 3 blade prop with no speed increase but quicker pickup at low speed out of the turns.

I feel the 3 blade loads up the motor more than the 2 blade prop.

              So I order a 130Amp in line amp meter(code TR-WATTMETER).

Also temp/rpm and voltage sensors for my Turnigy AI6 transmitter and a Quanum GPS Logger(speed reader).

With all this it will take out all the guess work, if I can work it all out.
