        Hi Len

Bob has asked me to answer your query on how to make the cowl vents.

It starts with a length of suitabell dowel and half of one of those balls machines children get sweets out of,you have to search for the size you want and then file a curve on the end of the dowel to match the ball then lay them down together thus

you then superglue them together and when dry fill any gaps with Squadron White Putty ,after thats dry its just sand to the right curveature and paint. The green bits on the tranny’s by the way are covers I made ,as my good lady said the lever ends were quite sharp and my good friend Charlie said the same after a day of sailing,so it was a production line to make them

I’m still looking for it Bob, tried that shop in Ashton yesterday , but I think it will be a ride up to Greenfield (Oldham) when the weather gets better

No skips in the area at the moment, not much chance of checker plate plastic in them though, might be the real stuff but thats too heavy is’nt it!
