Hi guys

some years ago I purchased the revell kit of HMCS Snowberry flower class corvette with the intention of converting the kit to R/C when I retired

Now those happy days have finally arrived but where do I start.

Will the hull need reinforcing, bulkheads etc if so how,

This will be my first attempt at R/C so any help and advice you can offer woukd be greatly appreciated

Hi Graham, I did one of thes a few years ago and just won a prize with it in our local steering regata, a great sailing model.
No need to reinforce the hull other than a couple of bulkheads, one around 9 inches from the bow and one about the same from the stern. It would be different if you make the whole deck removable as some people like to do. That said, reinforce the bows with epoxy on the inside, it helps if you hit the bank. Any questions, ask away.
