Caldercraft Ryhope or Oceancrest

Im after a caldercraft ryhope or ocean crest (unbuilt).  Both are now deleted and it appears all the usual stockists have sold their stock.  Anyone know of a shop or modeller who has either one of these for sale?

i’m almost sure that REDBANK MODELS of Central Drive, Blackpool had a Ryhope on their shelves a little while ago. give them a bell.

Thanks I have sent them an email but it seems from their website the one they ahd in stock they are building as a shop model!!  But you never know

if it’s still in that state of build, i doubt whether it has got much further. you might stand a chance.

The one you referred to is being built as a shop model – the guy is not sure if he can find the rest of the fittings but if he can he may be able to sell in a part built state so hope yet

mike, if you don’t get your hands on the Ryhope, have you seen this one just up on fleebay.

i built one years ago, and tey are quite a nice little boat to build.

mountfleet model’s Alfred is based on that model.

Thanks for the link.  Unfortunately it is a Ryhope and an Ocean Crest I want. I have built the mountfleet active version of the alfred but its the particular characteristics of the Ryhope I want, together with the nostalgia from the North East and seeign NE tugs as a very young kid.

we had the Cornhill, aka Hannah Spearing in Fleetwood docks for a few years awaiting conversion to a dive boat, in the end she was sadly cut up where she lay and is memories no more.

Took a few months but never give up! Now have an untouched Ryhope for a Winter Project which is going to be done as either Whitburn or Grangetown. Just Need Ocean Crest now
