I have treid to search in vain to view the magazine back issue containing the build and radio control conversion for this item, all my searches come to nothing, as according to the database, “no matches found” and Ive assured it was printed in the “winter 2007” issue.

 

can anyone assist in helping me view this issue please, otherwise ive just paid my subscription fee for virtually nothing !

As Larry says, you can find it by clicking on the issue cover on this page:

The search box above the cover illustrations works on keywords only rather than text and maybe this ought to be made clearer – it would seem that the appropriate keywords have not been entered for this article.

There is another method of searching and that is to click on any issue and do a text search within the flexipage system ticking the ‘search all back issues’ box. That will find all text references to the phrase entered.

Hi, guys I got the Trumpeter Uss Arizona 1/200 scale as a pressie at Christmas, I thought it would be easy to rc, ..then i got cold feet, and put it on mayhem ..for sale, but i,m now having second thought, as a member of mayhem told me about the build in Model Boats,….where can i get a copy of the magazine, as perhaps i gave up to easily

I was hoping somebody might be able to advise what issue the flash steam radio control model was featured on the cover? All i know is that it was around 2-3 years ago.

Hi,

I have committed myself to a future project by buying plans and a 1/32 moulded hull from Metcalf's for the flatiron gunboat HMS Kite.

It's based on an original by Paul Freshney and I am trying to trace and get copies of his original 'Model Boats' articles which, I think, were published from April 2001, but having got this far I'm having difficulty finally locating them.

Does anyone know of a route for acquiring copies of features this old?

The drawings I have are full of information but it would be helpful to know his choices for running gear etc. I would be grateful for any help.

One of the excellent people on here kindly sent me 3 or 4 pages of nice hi quality glossy prints from that edition , I cannot recall the members name but he has my eternall gratitude .
