Hi All

Any thoughts on the Aeronaut Mowe 2 kit. I'm looking for a first RC boat.

Its cheap, its cute but should I aim for a higher spec ?

The best sort of boat for you to make depends entirely on the kind of boat you want to make – though simple is best to start with!

One thing I would say – check where you're going to sail your boat before making it. You may find all sorts of limitations on sailing a model and you don't want to make something it's going to be hard to sail. That said, the Mowe should be easy to sail anywhere…

Thank you. There are a couple of small lakes near where I live. One is purpose made for model makers, the other is open water but has a launch platform for model boats. I'm almost finished an Antje II but there are bits missing so I'm doing what I can and keeping it as a static.
