A sail at dusk

Yesterday afternoon I decided to profit from the calm weather and the end of DST and take Eilean Mòr to the pond towards dusk, to see what she would like like on the water with the navigation lights turned on.

As the evening grew gradually dimmer, the lights looked correspondingly brighter …

… and when it was almost dark, I had a go at filming her under way, too. The lights reflected in the almost perfectly still water looked quite pretty, I thought, and I was also pleased to note that the various lights shone in their correct sectors, so that one could actually tell from lights which was she was heading.
