      I am currently working on a model boat built from scratch, but copied from a plan in Model Boats and have figured out that if I was to place figures on it they would either be 1/9 or 1/10 in scale. However, finding such figures in those scales is not easy, as what I’ve seen so far are not suitable, either they are too heavy (e.g. made from resin), look like toys rather than models (e.g. toy figures from Woolworths), are military or naval figures, or are made standing. 

      What I am looking for are two seated figures, preferbly one male and one female, in civilian clothes suitable for hot climates, and who look like a couple going out to enjoy themselves riding on an  airboat in somewhere like the Florida Everglades. Can anyone suggest somewhere I can look please?

          Hi try petes pilots on e-bay he’s figures are light, and are supplied with arms seperate so you can position them to suit

          try the  tamiya pit  raceing team  they are  1/12  scale  they  are making them again can be

          modifyed to suit   what they are in different poses   if look on e bay they did sitting figures for

          1/12 motor bikes in sitting poses hope this helps mick
