They are 20mm props, Cast brass 3 blade, From prop shop. I never had an issue with the motor/prop combination before, and I didn’t hang about! We could try the wattmeter on the boat with one motor connected to see if there is an issue? I have couple other boats with speed 280, no probs at all.
Noel, shout if you want to borrow wattmeter for home testing .
Hornet going very well. Shows you what a light boat and “standard” 540 can go like.
Peters jet boat also going best ever after removing some of the cabin superstructure. Was quite windy, so likely a bit more speed to be had on a flat day.
Paul, yes that’s an idea but I would have a battery then only used for one boat, whereas I have the requisite number of 7.2 sticks. From experience, the boat goes adequately fast on a 12v Niamh, so 14v should be ok.
