A look at the Cover and Contents of the July 2010 issue of Model Boats on sale 11th June

This issue has a wide range of material to interest all tastes. Main feature articles include a review of the Sealight puffer kit by Mountfleet Models and a working scratch built radio controlled Indian canoe.

I am including visits to the Fleetscale factory, the London Canal Museum, Southampton Maritime Museum and the Ellesmere Port Spring Show, as well as a look at Feluccas – Butterflies of the Nile, plus your usual regulars including Range Finder, Period Pieces, Collectors’ Corner Minis, Test Bench, Offshore Model Racing News and your other favourites. The centre double page spread Gallery by Jon Godsell is for the tug Svitzer Stanlow. Such vessels are always popular model making subjects.

The MYA have two reports in Compass 360 and Glynn Guest has prepared an interesting piece on how different models perform and why, so hopefully there is something for every reader to enjoy in this issue.

We are now receiving a significant increase in the number of free reader advertisements since we switched to the printed form as a means of submitting the advertisement. Readers can have up to 36 words free and of course these advertisements are read worldwide. The alternative is to use the free MB Website Forum which now has nearly 5000 members. Readers can access and join this forum very easily and of course magazine subscribers can also access the back issues to January 2007 for free.
