Bryan and Ann Ward held their now familiar Christmas Cracker event at their factory site on Saturday 5th December 2009.

The event was very well attended and there were a number of clubs including Kingsmill MBC, Vicar Water MBC, Grimsby and Cleethorpes MBC, Hartsholme MBC and Hull MBC as well as other traders.

Mobile Marine Models were naturally selling their entire range of tug models and accessories and were well supported on the trade front. SHG Models are always busy and this day was no exception with Sue and Jerome much in demand. Ron Dean had a selection of his RTR models plus building materials including the Albion Alloys metal range.

Dave and Ann Metcalf are show stalwarts and had their Moonbeam kit amongst others to sell. This pond yacht has been very popular with modellers. Tom Gorman was a busy man giving building advice and signing his latest book on the Vicar Water MBC stand, as well as showing people his model of Dawnlight now available from Mobile Marine Models.

Mike Allsop (Scale Flags and Ensigns) had his ever expanding range on display and it was nice to see Palaform here with a selection of hovercraft kits.

Barry’s Letters and Model Power Supplies completed the trade line up. You were able if so inclined, to purchase all that you would need to construct and operate an r/c model. These ‘Factory Open Day’ sort of shows seem to attract good support from traders and model clubs and the MMM Christmas Cracker was no exception with manufacturing, trade and clubs working together very well for a nice sociable day all round.
