          Well spotted, Dave

I find sleeping very difficult these days, probably due to my medication, I consider getting up at 6.00 an absolute luxury

You have my sympathy, m'duck. For those of us with a "gentleman's problem" a full night's sleep is just a faint memory. Still, that's nowt compared with some poor souls.

              Work in progress

              Creating the Vintage Cruiser effect

Fitted some of the large window frames and using acrylic paint, I`ve matched the colour and wood effect to create the vintage Mahogany appearance

              Like it, Paul?

I needed to cut slots in the rear doors to accept the Dolls House hinges……..A very fiddly tricky job!……..Tried the modelling knife and the micro saw…..No chance!

Mounted two rotary mini saw blades on one spindle and used the vertical drill to cut out the slots in the edges of the doors

I was very pleased with the result

Haven`t even thought about the next model yet…….Too busy working on the fascinating VGC

Can I wish you all the best for Christmas and the New Year?…..But, no doubt your private thoughts will be elsewhere this year

These little features are great fun and finish the model off nicely

Had a bit of a set back today

Pre varnished the rear canopy prior to covering, but the Fablon just wouldn`t adhere to the surface

Probably because I used Satin varnish by mistake?……eh?

I`m beginning to suspect the Fablon was old stock?

It would stick to flat surfaces reasonably, but didn`t like folding over corners…..It would bubble…..Could be the cold weather, I suppose

I could have tried Canopy glue

Luckily, the canopy is the last item required to be covered……So I will just try harder!
