Hi Larry

You are now so hot as you are 99% of the way there.

Ask yourself which style of boat owed its beginning to the rum runners and then have a think (perhaps have a look through my albums) Bob will get the answer now and I am certain that my old chum Dave M is shouting the answer at his computer.

Now then....now then!

We don`t want any further suggestions for the next boat, thank you

It might be a stonking good idea and put me off Brutus!

I can see an outrageous 21st Century Brutus, being a possibility?

Anyway.......I`ve got enough to do as it is!

It the Barrel Back

Bobs varnished version on Ellie has inspired me to revive this old favourite

Hello Paul

The Barrel Back is very close to the SloMo hull, I was not enthused by the proposal

I could remove the SloMo top and make a Barrel Back top.....ish?

Paul, you could knock up a BB top for Ellie and a mod to the hull, to get the droopy look? I fancy a long veneered top anyway?

Had an idea.....Why don't you offer the current plans in the ModelBoats free advert section?

Another string to your bow?

Hi Bob

Sorry but altering Ellie to make a barrel back wouldn't work as the geometry of the two hulls is completely different.

Placing an advert in the magazine might be a good idea, I am just wary of pushing my luck too far as the magazine owners, My Time Media, run a business part of which involves selling model boat plans.

Shop floor to top floor

You'll swoon with shear delight, when you see it!

I'm on a roll now

The formers are taking a lot of time and effort.....3/8" ply takes some shaping!

Pictures in about one hour!

Ha! ha! Ha!.....(.Insane laughter)

Bob with arms going like Bee's wings!

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
