Slowly my stuff gradually returned, it alsp affected my IPad somehow

Can`t understand it

Any more of my messages repeated?

No, things seem OK now. Sympathise with you re Windows, Microsoft just seem to want to take over something you think you hav paid for. It makes me really cross.

Those updates...a bane in life...they always seem to mess up your gear.

Re I`ve put the aerosol cans in a bucket with 12mm water....OK? No it wasn't ok

I said 'don't move them until morning when its cooler' for a reason as the cans needed to cool slowly.

The simple action of moving the hot cans could have increased the internal pressure causing an explosion.

On the other hand a rapid drop in temperature by putting them in cold water could have resulted in the can collapsing and then exploding.

Many thanks, Doc for your timely good advice

You wouldn't think that I was in charge of H and S and Cosch regulations, in the 80's

All quiet on the North Western front

Just a peep through the doorway

Hi Chaps

What set off to be a "Get it downstairs sledge" and also a " Get it from the car to the pond sledge " but it also ended up as an " Assembly turntable" for easy access on the work bench, up them dreaded stairs.

The model is getting very heavy now and also very awkward to handle

Captain Bob

Given that mk2 is getting increasingly heavy will you be able to launch and recover it safely?

Would it help move the boat around the lake side if you fitted 'quick fit' wheels to the sled?

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
