Just a heads-up to let you know that we'll be adding a few new topic boards over the coming weeks to help make the forum just a little easier and quicker to navigate. I'm hoping it doesn't cause any disruption but do just bear in mind that if you can't find your thread in the usual place, it'll be under one of the new headings. Nothing drastic, just a little housekeeping. Thanks in advance for your understanding. Graham

Do you know I almost never look at the forum topics separately, I just click on "latest posts" and that's that.

I'm just the same, in all of the years that I have been a member of this site all I have ever done is click on "latest posts" perhaps there are many things that I am missing.

In many respects chaps I'm pleased to hear it. Hopefully it'll just make life a little easier for those who are new to the site given that we want to push a little more traffic this way over the coming months.

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.
In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.
The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!
I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
