Dear All

This March Issue of MB Magazine is packed with torpedo and missile boats and makes for great reading but the best part is Ron Rees article on his tug Rhondda.

Rons article is very well written and contains lots of useful and interesting build information, there is even a third use for ladies tights.

This month instead of just looking at the pictures take the time to actually read the magazine.

Ashley

Not many people have noticed but the writing is the squiggly black stuff between the pictures.

I don't know! Is Model Boats keeping me under surveillance?

This is part of the next EeZeBilt offering coming off the stocks - somewhat delayed as I've been bringing an old Macgregor single-channel (remember that?) transmitter back to life - and what do I see in the March edition? A piece on OSA 2s!

I ask you!!!

Hi Paul,

It's nice to know at least one person enjoyed the article on Rhondda, thanks a lot. It really turned out to be a lovely model and while the article says it was £25 to build, it was actually £18.90!!....better than £300 plus for a kit anyway. I,ve made a barge for it to pull for this season but that is conventional balsa and ply, from somebody else's free plan. I hope you enjoy part 2 in the April edition, Let us know how you get on if you fancy building one, Mine took me 6 weeks, start to finish!!

Regards..........Ron Rees.

Make your own contribution to the Website

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
