I am looking for a full set of 1/24 fittings for the Precedent K.D. Perkasa. Model Dockyard used to carry them and they were made by TMD but are no longer available. Maybe someone out there has a set that they would like to sell. If so, please email me and I will arrange to purchase. email

Thanks for the information. As I am completely computer illiterate, how do I get in touch with boatman wales? Really appreciate your efforts.

Again thanks for the information, I will try these sites. I still need fittings for 20mm gun, vents, cooling tower, davits at torpedoes, misc. deck boxes, siting? devices at torpedoes etc. Any more ideas? I do thank you for your efforts.

Regards,  Fred

Thanks for the lead. I have looked at Macs Mouldings and he definitely has some fittings that I can use and will order. The problem that I am having is that there are a number of suppliers for 1/24 fittings but they are WW2, the Perkasa is 1960 and the fittings changed after WW2.

Again, thanks for your help,

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
