Tried going boating but queued up halfway round the Diana Fountain and gave up before trying to get into the car park.
Went home and worked on Jessie.
Hoping to try out the jet dragonfly.
Tup for ease too.
Plus a flask of tea.
Official service or not, we are still going to the local war memorial for some open air recreation.
Section 6 : Exceptions
2 (d) "open air recreation" is allowed, I interpret that to include fishing, sun bathing or operating remote controlled cars, boats or planes.
(iii) allows two to gather, if another stranger wanders up in a public park that is just a co-incidence (as long as it has not been organised).
It has been on the "to do" list although not high up.
Oooh, a brace of tups !
Will it be ready for 3s then ?
At least I got the battery back !
It was very pretty pink smoke although not smelling nice !
Unfortunately no one had a camera ready.
Cloudy but dry forecast for tomorrow morning so car park should have spaces.
Missed today's session as the car park was full (went round several times with the rest of the cars).
Should be better parking on Tuesday.
Hopefully it will whizz across the pond in a sportsman like way.
Tug plus a.n. other (hope we will not need Richards waders).

Hydrofoils were also considered but wanted to follow the original design layout as far as possible.

Walked straight into Smiths in Walton this morning as no magazines in yesterday, superb read with wonderful range of boats featured !
Torpedo boat, possibly the yot and a surprise new addition.
Going to Smith's in Walton to see if they have the new magazine too.
Ooh, goody !
Will have a review of the fleet and select a couple.
At least you should not need the high speed capacity feature (unless Noel fits suitable motors).
Italian racer out for a run tomorrow (weed permitting) and another out of the fleet.

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.
In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.
The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!
I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
