Hi all.. I attended the shepton model on sunday...... o dear what let down ... £10 toget into see what , no traders poor club stands.. was in a wheel chair so where are the step ramps ?... ground rough and bumpy no boats on pool .... the faces of the club stands and traders .. where pathtic no intrest in what they showing .. so is the death of a anther show in the west ? ....... so who ever put the show wants to get there finger out and put in more effort if this show is to carry on. the flying is a mile away on show ground .. no shuttle bus .... the model trucks where so so the tank boys put on show just the model rail way did there best... so please more effort next year to entertain punters .. and not them selves .......cheers Larry..............

Hello Bryan , As Paul and Dave have made two good comments , bin the marked screen , give your self a rap on the knuckles , and make a new one , first cut a card template to size, on the drawing it shows some fixing tabs use these to line the screen up do trial fit when happy, cut out a new plastic on to template , with tabs dont remove plastic protective film yet, do a test fit , it if happy carry on , now just remove film from tabs take your time, using deluxe cockpit glue apply with a cocktail stick fix front front end tab first a centure line datum , when this as dry carry on and fix rear tabs, when it all nice and dry and fine tuned, remove the protective film , with clean fingers , if you going with screen frame leave on , and just remove the small working area , its your choice,.... it is a bit fiddly , but worth it , i would put this model on top of list for a first time scratch build , i am surprised this not put out as kit, a very well done to Dave Milourn, no cad when this was released so i hope this helps, if not try try again... ITS WORTH IT Larry ,

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.
In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.
The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!
I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
