I've redesigned her completely, I've now just got the hull decals and railings to do and a little weathering for authenticity. Hope your all staying well and hope you enjoy the pictures of my ongoing project. All the best Anthony img_20200408_162237.jpg

Lots of fine detail to follow also correct decals ect the paper decals are for size purposes only she has fully working lights and radio controlled as well as working radar x4 and rotation gun too railings on order and sound kit. Not sure on a smoke generator as she would be diesel?? Also should I lightly weather her????? Answers on a postcard lol many thanks Anthony

Hi people got a new project to finish, purchased this from a model builder so can’t take the credit there, however after many hours so far she’s getting there , like my other models she’s a big one at 2.2 meters long so now looking forward to finishing the all important detail and the weathering . She is a Russian corvette byant class built in the 90s so probably my youngest model . Hope you like her will also be posting some pictures of her on the water as she’s all rc ready . Thanks for looking anthony.

We welcome well written contributions from Website members on almost any aspect of Model Boating with a particular emphasis on practical hints, tips, experience and builds.

In order to maintain a consistent standard and format, all suggestions should first be sent to me by Personal Message for approval in principle. Only a very limited amount of time is available for editing contributions into a suitable format for placing on the website so it is important that the material is well presented, lucid and free from obvious spelling errors. I think it goes without saying that contributions should be illustrated by appropriate photos. I shall be happy to give advice on this.

The Member Contribution area offers space for short informative mini articles which would not normally find a place in Model Boats magazine. It is an opportunity for Website Members to freely share their  expertise and experience but I am afraid that virtue is its own reward as there is no budget to offer more material recompense!

I look forward to receiving your suggestions.
