The June issue of Model Boats which is on retail newstrade sale 15th May, includes a Free Plan and a free to enter competition to win one of five D Class Lighter kits from Mobile Marine Models.
The magazine has an article by expert model builder Tom Gorman about building a scratch built showcase model of M.T. Lizrix and Terry Small reviews the ARTR Alexander von Humboldt by Graupner. The Gallery this month is extended to include the work of two of our regular contributors, Fraser Gray and Colin Bishop, with an article on PS Waverley as well as the centre page picture feature, both being of assistance to modellers.
The Free Plan is of a Scottish 38 foot Fifie by James Pottinger that would build into a nice, practical working model. In addition there are other special features as well as the usual regulars including Range Finder with Part Two of a Photo file on USS Salem.
