| 11 forum posts | if you approach a laser print shop, there will produce loverly transfers, but it pays to provide a sample of the decals you want , price is not too bad either

239 forum posts 21 photos | Hi I made my own transfers using special 'paper' and my computer inkjet printer.
If you have the artwork (design) its not a hard job (bit fiddly)
look here for paper http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/.-Inkjet-Water-Slide-Decal-Paper_151.htm
worked for me

| 6 forum posts | I had transfers made up to suit and very effective they are too. Thanks for all suggestions. I would now like to know the best way to make the protuding torpedo tubes which hold the doors. Obviously these do not need to enter the hull so what the best material to use is, how to cut to shape plus any other relevant information would be helpful. Same 1:24 scale. |
